As a third generation journalist, David R. Frazier handled photo assignments through the early 1970s for many of the top news publishers in the United States. His images appeared in TIME, NEWSWEEK, U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT, and the NEW YORK TIMES. Soon others were calling to acquire re-use of the images for textbooks, overseas magazines, and encyclopedias.
There is a distinct editorial flavor in images of Photolibrary, with a strong emphasis on educational or "tutorial" images. Many ad agencies have also made use of our work for national clients including Hewlett Packard, Dupont, Qwest, Cunard Lines, and Holland-America. During a typical shoot - either domestic or foreign - everything from landscapes and architecture to commerce and lifestyles is covered.
