Doug has been making memorable photographs sine the age of 12. While still in high school he photographed the Beatles on stage with them at Olympia Stadium in Detroit (see rare Beatle photos on web site).
Since then Elbinger's work has taken him into countless homes, business and countries all over the world. Elbinger had made official portraits for the last four governors of Michigan, the Supreme Court of Michigan, The State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Medical Society and endless CEO's and BOD's.

Doug Elbinger

A native od Detroit, Doug went to Michigan State University (1968-1971) and then worked as a photo journalist for The Detroit Free Press. In 1974 Elbinger received a grant from the National BiCentennial Commission to work as a photographic history consultant in Washington DC. In 1977 Doug returned to Michigan where he established a successful portrait and commercial studio.
