Our Spring Picture Program features new backgrounds each year that brings out the personality of your child. Your school staff, parents and students will enjoy searching for their pictures on your poster sized composite! Athletics are a big part of our growing up years! Remember these years with professional portraits. Our daughter is very photogenic - but she had terrible school photos. Which it happens, I get it. However, when I was younger there would be mom volunteers to help out to make sure the kids look photo ready and take good pictures. That apparently doesn't happen anymore. So we do retakes. And not sure HOW, but they are even worse. You can even see. snot dripped on her nose.

I reached out asking what our options were. We paid for the full package and we really wanted photos that were atleast decent. I was told I could drive to Grand Rapids to get photos taken, or send back the packet and use the original photo for the yearbook. So I agreed and said that's fine, what's the process of sending.

They are so professional. You can tell they care about how each and every piece turns out. They send your pictures to you in almost like a book. I was honestly debating on even separating the book. So please try and get a contract through wayland schools and plainwell schools. Your work I praise. Ty

Critical: Professionalism I should've read the reviews before hand and I would've known what I was up against. Even with COVID interfering with things they don't even try to work with you to get pictures. Good businesses find a plan and try out that plan instead of just throwing you to the curb!

I have been emailing this place for weeks with NO response. This is our school districts first time using this company and I'll be making my voice heard that our school district to go back to who they were using before. This company is garbage. Paid for a digital download and never got it, emailed multiple times and no response. They're just keeping my money and not providing the product I paid for.

A couple years ago they spelled my son's name wrong - I was assured it would be corrected - never was, so it's forever printed in the yearbook with the wrong name. Fast forward to this year. first I'm told by the school they had to send them back for an error. I have nothing to look at to see if he even needs retakes so I called to ask what the. issue was.

The woman on the phone emails me the picture to see if I want him to get retakes - ITS NOT EVEN MY CHILD! So she said she had to go search through all the pictures to find him comparing his face to former years. Today he came home with his "pictures, " however it's literally just the cover they send out. I ordered a package of photos and so did his father and they sent NOTHING. This has become a ridiculous issue right after the other.

I sent each of my children with a check two of which were in the same class my son brought his home but daughter did not. I called to ask if one was lost at school and no it wasn't. I was not charged but had to reorder online and was told I had to pay any shipping charges unless I wanted to travel to pick them up. It was not my mistake that my. child did not come home with her photos but the customer service person insisted it was either my fault for not sending her with her money or the schools for losing it and was plain rude when I asked to reorder and have shipping fees waived.

I have been emailing this company for WEEKS I've sent SEVERAL emails with not a single response. Poor customer service and I paid for products I did not receive! I guess they like to just take your money then ignore their customers. Will be letting TK schools (first time using this company this year) know they absolutely need to switch from this awful company

For the 3rd year in a row, my daughter's pictures came out awful. They posed her very awkward, didn't tell her she had a weird wrinkle in her shirt & let her bra strap show. Very disappointed! She looks like she's scared in the pic! Definitely not professional! Not to mention, I still haven't received my other child's digital download that I paid for! This has happened before! Retakes again! Last year we didn't get retakes bc of covid! So disappointed! I could take better photos!

Ordered school pictures. Paid for a fall background and got a gray one. The picture wasn't centered either and my dughters head wasn't straight. Tried emailing them about the background and got no response. Very disappointed this year.

Our school switched to Geskus this year. I am % upset! First off for three kids: haircut + new clothes + picture selection = $300 +. Then one good smile out of three and the pictures are washed out. The one with a good smile still isn't a good picture. The photographer should have at least made sure there was a good smile for EVERY kid at. school. FYI. my kids are very photogenic. it's not hard.come on man!

Complaint number two. I ordered the digital pictures and they sent me a booklet that told me if I download what I ordered and decide to get retakes then additional charges may apply. Ridiculous! I didn't get pictures to need retakes.get it right the 1st time. I took better.

My son just brought his school picture home today and it was awful. The lazy person taking the pictures should at least wait for a proper smile instead of just snapping it before they are situated

We have used Geskus for all of our school photos since I can remember. They have a great system, and if you're anything like me, and have a neverending to-do list that often has things pushed to the backburner, Geskus has you covered with ordering your children's photos from the past five years! I worked with an associate named Jessica, who helped grab all our codes, and I was able to catch up my orders that I really needed.

You know, for comparing growth throughout the years, and for those great conversation starters as they are older and wonder what they looked like when they were younger. It was really important to me that I have 8x10's of all of my children throughout the years, and she helped in every way to make sure that was achieved. She just filled my momma heart, and was a pleasure to work with. So shoutout to her, and Geskus for making these memories available to me still!

Horribly inflexible, non customer-focused. Amidst the confusion of the first week of school, especially during Covid, they insist on taking pictures anyway when kids are still stressed out and not yet settled in. Plus, I as a parent wasn't aware of pictures being taken until the following week, and my kid had so much other stuff to handle, he forgot to tell me about pictures also, which was on his second day of school!

The photographer took the order form without the opportunity for us to order. when I called, they said go to the website, which I explained requires a school code and a student code, neither of which I had AND THEY WOULDN'T provide over the phone. The CSR was also "short" on the phone, just looking to get rid of me as quickly as possible. The packages are also too expensive for what you get, but my larger complaint is the lack of caring about their customers. Very, disappointed in and unimpressed by this company.

I ordered pictures for my daughter back in October of this year and I have still not received my photos. They keep giving me the run around of when they will be ready. I have been waiting since October for my daughters first school pictures ever. They are not taking their mistakes seriously or my order. My advice would be to not order from this place if you want them on time or at all. They finally fixed their mistakes with my order and received my photos.

Ordered my daughters school pictures and I guess i didnt fill out the form which is my fault but they tried to keep my money till i said something instead of sending it back. They said they would send the package and they sent me the wrong kid. It's been a few days and still have not heard back from them. Will not order from them next year.

Unfortunately bad customer service. Also for small children they don't pay much attention to detail in the photo. Not worth ordering anything other than a digital print just so you can have the poorly taken keepsake cliche school photo.

I've emailed twice about my disappointment in the premium photo processing that was used on my daughter's high school photos and I've still gotten no response. We already did retakes because the original photos looked terrible as well. I don't recommend paying the extra for the premium photo processing.

I got my sons pictures and they didn't even capture him smiling and his head was tilted. My son is nine and has a huge smile with big teeth and gaps. I would've loved a photo to capture that! For what I paid and what I received. I was not happy. I was going to get retakes but then my son had pneumonia. I talked geskus and they couldn't give me a retake date.

She said I could send my package back for a return. That's not what I wanted! I wanted a good picture of my son who's photo is used everywhere at school. She didn't even offer a retake reschedule date and I had to ask if I could come to them for a retake. My son is in school 8:45-3:45 M-F and we are 60 min away. The only time's available were during school hours and they aren't open on the weekends.

So now I have to take my son out of school just to take a damn picture. I'm not happy. I still wish we had life touch which I will be letting our school know how I feel about Geskus!

I order my kids pictures online (after their picture date at school). Two out of my 3 kids pictures came home about a week later. The 3rd package never came. I called and they were very polite, did not know why we hadn't received them yet. But said they would get them reprinted and send out right away!

I currently see 34 reviews for Geskus Photography on Google, and about 30 of those 34 are negative. But then you have to think, how many satisfied customers go out of their way to praise a company for doing a good job? Not very many, is the answer. So 30 people out of tens of thousands have complained about bad photos or unresponsive customer service. not to shabby Geskus, not too shabby! I, personally, had a very positive experience when an issue came about with my son's school photo.

The galaxy-style background that we chose, based on the printed order form, came out looking like an overly bright and cheerful, 80's cartoon which will remain nameless (but you know who you are Care Bears). I sent an email to the company that evening, and had a heart-felt response (with a chuckle) early the next morning, promising to reprint the photos using the more subdued, standard background at no cost to me.

Within a week, the new prints were in my mailbox. You can't ask for better service than that! (well, you can ask, but if you do, you're probably feeling way more entitled than you're entitled to feel. and you can blame society or your parents for that, not Geskus). I'd give Geskus an A+ for the quality of their service and the photo itself. at least for this semester. Keep up the good work!
