We established Hagop's Photography in 1993 in Palo Alto. Photography although, started for Hagop when his father bought him his first camera. In addition, a professional photographer, friend of the family mentored Hagop and started him on his path. In the beginning, he learned about lighting, posing, composition, film development, retouching and many other necessary skills. Eventually in high school, he was the "official" school photographer. Later, he had a studio and photographed portraits but weddings were more fun.
Executive headshots are very similar to Business Portraits done before the word headshots came into play. They are a bit more formal than headshots. Most of the time executive headshots are for employees of companies who are in management (executive) roles such as CEOs, CFOs, COOs, VPs etc. Their photos are usually used on LinkedIn, About Us page and Meet our Leadership page on company websites.

Hagop and Anu are absolutely wonderful and I love my business headshots! They were able to accommodate me on very short notice and I had the finished photos on the same day the photos were taken. At the session, they assisted with styling my outfit and listened to what I was looking to achieve in each headshot. The entire process was very collaborative and I appreciated Hagop's coaching throughout.
It was wonderful to watch Hagop edit the pictures before my eyes and explain the edits he was making along the way. They did a phenomenal job and I highly recommend Hagop's Photography!

I was in need of a last-minute professional headshot photo for an application, and I'm so glad I found Hagop and Ano. They were able to accommodate my schedule on a short notice, and I couldn't have asked for a better photography session. I had a great experience at Hagop's Photography recently to get my headshots done. Hagop was patient, explained the process to me well, and guided me through step by step. I was nervous at first, but he and Ano put me at ease. Hagop was really good at his work, meticulous, and taking nice pictures while giving easy to follow instructions. The final products were just pleasing and high quality. Hagop does an excellent work, I highly recommend him and his studio.

I highly recommend Hagop's Photography. I found out that I needed a professional head shot at very short notice, and they made room for me quickly. I'd never gotten such a photo before, and I wasn't looking forward to it, since I'm not very photogenic. But Hagop and Anna (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) were reassuring, kind, and patient. I ended up enjoying the experience and found it super interesting as well. Anna helped keep my hair from flying all over the place, and Hagop explained every step of his process.
At the end we did some touch ups, and this was more of a collaboration than some sort of mysterious process. This part in particular was fascinating. Hagop is extremely skilled, and I left wondering if he could be convinced to give a photography class. I'd take it!

I highly recommend this place for medical residency application photos. Hagop did an amazing job and the price was very fair. He also has a lot of experience and knowledge about photography in general and the requirements for residency application photos in specific. I also liked a lot that I got the photos right away. I will use this photography service again when I need new professional photos! Thank you very much!
