If your house was on fire and you knew your family and pets were safe, what would be the 1st material possession you would try to save? If you are like most, photographs are the 1st thing you would try to save. Photographs of our friends and family are among our most treasured possessions. In my home, I am blessed to have an abundance of photographs of my family through eight generations.

Rating is half a star. They're now asking online for my credit card # and a dollar to find me a "panel of experts." I waited on the phone (their San Francisco #) for 45 minutes 2 weeks ago and when I finally got through, I thought they were going to do as they said, send the prints of the photo I chose (for $132) right away, (a 5 x7 and 2 smaller prints.) No prints came.

Today I tired online, "Celine" timed out twice. They can't trace the order as they didn't open an acct for me and the envelope with the wrong photos didn't contain an invoice. The digital part of the order worked, the digital photo is jpg 12--I sent it to my cover design person and she received the right photo. But apparently that jpg number doesn't help t hem find the print #. There's no number on the photo in the album on the site.

The studio gave me a local number that is no longer in service. Tried it several times, finally found the San Francisco number. I haven't had service this bad in a long time, Hope you can help. It was the Jenson Beach Penny's studio in Treasure Coast Mall. my email:burtkathleen458@gmail.com or windowtothestars@att.net my address 651 SW Long Key Court, Port St Lucie Ph 772 3332598 Thanks, Kathleen Burt

Have lost count of the number of times I have called Lifetouch or used their automated chat message. The wait time has been close to an hour, just to speak with an incompetent- the chat, just as useless. In fact, I'm wasting my personal time right now writing this review. Hopefully, school districts will make the decision to NEVER use this company again.

Even the photographer told my daughter that the company was a disorganized, crap show to work for. Once a reliable source for school photos, now an outsourced nightmare. Who knew one could waste countless hours, attempting to purchase overpriced, low quality portraits. STAY AWAY if you have the opportunity. Pathetic that Yelp requires 1 star, this place deserves a gigantic zero!

The pricing was a bit high. To me u could tell they were making up for the covid situation. The quality of the photos was good.

Beyond disappointed with this company. Had portraits taken a month back and NOTHING! My friends took their photos days after and received their portraits within three weeks. The company now said my (area) is experiencing delays and I'd have to wait a addition 2-3 weeks. Clearly you guys don't want business.

40 minute hold Time for someone who can't even help. Multiple messages left with no call back. Been dealing with them for years because it's the place the school has contract with. Each year gets worse than the one before. Zero stars.

Very unprofessional business. Schools should stop using them & give business to local photographers. No appointments at school, could not get in touch with the Farmingdale office. Took an irate message to get the national reps to call me back. Need to reschedule my appointment & can't get in touch with anyone.

Extremely expensive. 2 pictures cost $52. They do not even give the option to get a digital copy. Listen to this, if there are any blemishes on the picture THEY took they charge you $10 to fix it. I wish I had another option to get my daughter's graduation picture. Unfortunately her school picked Lifetouch Events. I would never. Stay away!

Zero stars is the way to go for that "company". They provide one (1!) frame to choose from. No way to change the background (even if you want ONE background for the whole package, not multiple backgrounds). They want to force you to choose unnecessary expensive package in order to do that, which you do not need in a digital age. The rep I spoke with can provide no resolution, pretends he does not understand what I am asking or cannot hear or other lame excuses just not to provide any actual support. Chat is not functioning - no one responds ever to that.

Not ordering from them, this year my kid will be without their mediocre photos with their mediocre background of their choice (which again you just do not need in such amount in a digital age!).

I wish i could give this place a 0, I had pictures done over a month ago, the photographer was a little rude and basically rushed the entire thing, I was there for probably a total of 10 minutes max, and the proofs were supposed to be mailed 4 weeks later, called the place, said "they made some changes" and to call back for an online code. I called back maybe 10 times nobody answered, the line barely works. Destroyed the one thing about senior year that could've been normal, thanks.

Shout out to Alyssa the photographer She was amazing, personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. This was a retake for my daughter and she was already hesitant. All that went away when we sat with Alyssa. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Great photos but I'd rather not pay an arm and a leg for a printed copy of my face. And the packages that they offer are ridiculous. Why would I pay hundreds of dollars for 20+ copies of the same photo in different sizes. Especially after receiving them months late (Which I understand is no ones fault-but it just adds to the frustration).

I suffered a unimaginable tragedy, when my son Michael who just graduated HS passed away in a car accident. Life Touch sent me a condolences card & a free disk with each of his other 9 out of 10 poses he took that day. A beautiful gesture

Horrible communication by phone. On hold forever, then nothing gets resolved. Never sent home any information for my son's graduation pictures. Hope I can still order them at this point. And now he is hysterical he won't be in the yearbook. They need a new system where an person actually picks up the phone LOCALLY, no India.

Been on the phone for 3 hours and 21 minutes with this vendor today. Not only did they not send home their online log in information with students - to access their photos - when you call for the access information, their live chat is inoperable, and there is a 40 min wait. I waited 40 minutes, received log in information for both of my students (after a 10 min Q & A to verify my identity), then I log in and neither of the access codes or portrait ID#s work for either of my kids. I am NOW back on hold for another 40 minutes! This business SUCKS soooo bad. Dorian Photography rocks and hopefully will put this business out of business.

If I could give them ZERO STARS! The photos aren't bad, but they said 2.5 hours for 5 separate photos but they made us wait 30 minutes in between each photo set and 75 minutes between photo 2 and 3. so our time was up by the time we made it to photo 3. Awful! Awful! Awful!

Never got the experience this year. The school that my grandson goes to never sent the students down to have their pictures done. Very sad. But Life Touch always comes through with a great product.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! I cannot call the two women who came to our school actual photographers as that would be an insult to photographers. After dedicating an entire day to school pictures, they had to return a second time due to the terrible quality of the photos. When I went to get my picture taken, they asked me to wait 10 minutes while the two casually chatted about nothing work related.

A second teacher enters the room and the woman with the camera actually took her picture before mine despite me waiting there five feet away. Needless to say, we will not be doing business with them any longer.

First, you deserve no stars. I have 3 children. of them are seniors in hs and one is in jhs. All three took their pictures this year with this company. Second, my seniors look like the didn't even have the opportunity to look in a mirror prior to taking the pictures. Third, what is the difference in the jhs pics and the senior pics other than the fake tux you gave the seniors to wear Oh yea I remember now it is the prices. Are you kidding me?

Your senior portrait prices are outrageous! How dare you! I refuse to purchase their pic and with that being said thanks because I will never have my kids senior pics in a frame on my wall because of your blood sucking company. BEWARE PARENTS! PTA's FIND A BETTER PHOTOGRAPHY COMPANY. STOP COMPROMISING OUR KIDS SCHOOL MEMORIES. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE!

Lifetouch used to be a well renowned photography company especially when it came to school pictures and especially high school senior pictures. But it seems that now they outsource some of their work. My sister orders a package from them for my nephew's nursery school. The lighting was fabulous and the pictures were great. But why one star you say?

Well apparently they don't properly crop pictures when doing 5x7 or wallet size pictures. Why pay top dollar for a package when the end result is unacceptable? My little nephew had taken Thanksgiving themed pictures that we were going to give to our family at Thanksgiving dinner, how can we give them pictures in which the word Thankful has been cropped off?

I had to go on to My WHCC account and my Shutterfly account and re-do the 5x7 and wallet size pictures for my sister. Why because Lifetouch refused to fix what they did, one doesn't need to be a photographer like me in order to fix this. It's a template that is used to create prints. Anyone can just upload a picture hit preview and adjust the cropping markers in order to get proper prints. But unfortunately Lifetouch's employees can't.

This company is the absolute worst - not only should you personally avoid at all costs, but you need to speak up at school functions, meetings, etc. and strongly advocate AGAINST this awful company and even more awful photographers! For a long time, our child's daycare had been using a local mom and pop operation, which delivered to us really nice photos at very reasonable prices.

After repeatedly being "courted" by a Lifetouch rep, our daycare decided to try them out for the first time. I called an 800 number to try and get pricing info (since none was provided to our school), and spoke to a complete dimwit who informed me that yes, sometimes your kid will be blinking in every pic and that's tough luck because the photographers don't bother to actually look through the viewfinder when photographing. Does that even remotely sound like the way a photographer should perform their work?

It goes on. Our picture day was scheduled for Monday 10/1, but our school was informed at 8pm on that Friday that "one of the photographers can't go, so picture day would have to be cancelled." Let me remind you that for us, all the other parents, and the daycare entity too, this was all our FIRST interaction with Lifetouch, and this is how they decide to make their first impression?

By canceling one school day before the actual picture day? Now we're being informed they won't be able to come back until December, but I'm glad to know that our school is shopping elsewhere. PEOPLE: Shop local, take your business elsewhere, and let these losers wither away. Read the other reviews for all the Lifetouch locations - I'm shocked they're still in business.

My daughter took her high school senior pictures, and today we got them back. Call me cheap, but I don't appreciate feeling like I have to sell my soul to afford senior graduation pics. Right now, looking at these prices, I feel violated, double-crossed, hustled, extorted, bamboozled, fleeced, bilked, and taken to the cleaners. Did I mention that the least expensive package is $159, called an intro package (1 pose, no 8x10's). Intro to what?

My wallet? The other packages are $200, $269, $309, 469, $569. Makes no sense! The stinking pics from Prestige Lifetouch can go in the yearbook, but as far as me spending my hard earned money on their packages, they will have to find another one to swindle. #shafted #takenforaride #duped #shakedown

RIP OFF & SCAM OF THE WORST KIND! I would give them a zero star if I could! This company should go out of business! I definitely think that they're giving kickbacks to these school systems who use them. My step-daughter had her senior portraits taken and my husband had to pay an outrageous amount of money to get some basic pics that they wouldn't even sell a la carte.

They try to force you into huge packages around $500 to get any pictures that you want like making you order invitations, address labels, and class of 2012 seals. The quality of the pictures are terrible. If you try to put the picture in a frame, it will flake off. The quality of the portraits are terrible too. They're not centered and blurry.

They try to sell you an up-charge if you want better paper. For a professional company and the kind of money charge, it's a monopoly scam. Any schools that picks this company as photographers, they do not care about the students or parents but only the kickbacks that Prestige will give them. Do you really think that parents have hundreds of dollars to spend on senior portraits in our current economy?

You should be ashamed of yourselves and all who is involved will get their karma one day. This should serve as a warning to parents. Explore other options instead of being monopolize by the school system and these rip off artists. Our son's senior portraits was done by another company in 2010 and we received more pictures and better quality for half the price.
