This company is developing a project in a dense residential area, yet their contractor repeatedly violates noise ordinances. In fact, they have tried to start construction as early as 4 am. They also made mistakes that required them to drill and demolish masonry walls for weeks. They have been bad neighbors.

I purchased a condo in the Coleman building three years ago and the place is great! I recently called Lock 7 with a minor issue and Dillon sent someone over right away to take care of it. three years later! We have been so impressed with the style, quality, location of their properties and looking to buy another property with Lock 7.

Purchasing a condominium from Lock7 was such a pleasant and easy process. The architecture itself is beautiful but it is the attention to detail that set them apart. When we had a third-party inspector walk-through the house, he pointed out many places where shortcuts could have been taken but weren't and additional places where Lock7 took extra care to preserve the longevity of the building.

After we closed, working with Dylan Aker was a pleasure as he was always extremely responsive, even after hours, and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and all of our questions were answered.

As a subcontractor for this group I'm horrified by the shady work that they do. This is in part due to the poor pay but also wanting to raise profit on units. Poor tenants have to deal with the aftermath of their subpar work. One of the in-house employees told me "as long as it gets through the warranty period, then it's their problem". Buyer beware, I would steer clear from any projects involving Lock 7.

DO NOT buy new construction from Lock 7. I purchased a condo at Brooks Row in December 2016 when it opened, and I can not fathom giving them anything other than a 1-star review. We still have unresolved issues from our final walkthrough prior to closing over a year and a half ago that we were told would be done within a week. We are dealing with our second roof leak in the last year and have to plead and beg to get anything done (still waiting).

We have spent literally the entire 1.5 years in consistent email contact with them trying to fix problems or get things done that they promised in December 2016. It is abundantly clear that they only care about getting making money, and their plan for solving problems is ignore them until the owners give up and pay for repairs themselves. The communication is nonexistant.

They take turns with UIP (their general contractor for the project) in blaming each other for every issue as if the owners care whose fault it is. The nearly infinite number of issues that caused delay in the original completion of the condo is proof that they do not consider project oversight to be a priority.

The finish quality and design detail in their properties are incredible. I have been to several open houses and I am always impressed. Love their work!

I purchased a condo from Lock7 on RIA a couple months ago and the process couldn't have been smoother. Additionally their work is top notch and attention to detail is unparalleled. There was some confusion after the closing process but was fully rectified due to their dedication to customer service. I've dealt with developers before regarding warranty work and never.until now.have I interacted with one that took special care to make everything right in the end.

We're buyers at a Lock 7 development called Brooks Row, and Lock 7 and their sales office, Urban Pace, have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Overall this entire process has been painful, and I would recommend to any potential buyers to run fast and far away from anything that Lock 7 touches, especially new construction. Their optimistic projections for delivery was in April or May of 2016. Well, it's December, and we're still waiting.

Their project management skills are beyond incompetent. Lock 7 outsourced the construction at Brooks Row to a subcontractor and blindly believed all of the subcontractor's updates. Guess what. The subcontractor barely had any workers showing up and basically no progress was made for months. And Lock 7 communicated none of this to their buyers until we received a poorly worded email saying that they had believed whatever their subcontractors had said. without actually showing up to the construction site to verify anything.

Now for the walk-through on our unit. We were putting up blue tape everywhere for their shoddy worksmanship. Door frames were unevenly sawed - it looked like someone did it by hand. The dishwasher was not installed correctly and wasn't working. Baseboards were uneven. They replaced the Elfa closets in the contract with Rubbermaid. and they installed them improperly to the point that the rod wouldn't support a shirt on a hanger without falling off.

And of course, when we submitted the punch list, we've received no progress reports on any indication that they have performed any work to remedy their failures. And yes, we're still waiting to close.
