We are operated by a friendly team of highly trained photographers. We are available for services on the entire Eastern shore of Maryland and Virginia which includes Salisbury, Delmar, Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Fenwick Island, Berlin, Snow Hill, Bishopville, Princess Anne, Pocomoke, Crisfield, Fruitland, Cambridge, St. Michaels, Easton and Annapolis.

My love of photography began forty years ago owning a travel agency and traveling to exotic destinations, giving me the opportunity to photograph many challenging people and places. In 1999, I was tutored by a professional photographer friend who felt I had the talent and eye for it. I love photography and look forward to making friends with the people who come to us.
We specialize in doing fun, casual photography of families - formal poses along with many candid shots of children and adults interacting in between. Fantastic experience! I really just wanted some nice photos and Janet more than delivered! The area where we were going to take the pics was rather crowded, so Janet suggested a much superior alternative. Great photos, great price, and Janet was exceptionally professional and personal. She also uploaded the photos within a day. Other photographers didn't even bother to respond to my request for a session--I'm glad they didn't! Go with Janet and you will NOT be sorry!

We first used Photos by Janet in 2014 and when we decided to do a photo seesion again this year, we went back and we're glad we did! Not only did our photos turn out great, it was a fun experience! Our family first used Janet for family photos in 2016. We were so pleased with her professionalism and the quality of photos that, when we decided to do a second photo shoot in Nov. of 2020, I knew I would contact her again. The second experience was every bit as positive as the first! Janet's sense of humor and her experienced photographer's 'eye' made our afternoon fun and productive, and we ended up with many, many photos that we LOVE! We highly recommend Janet!

Janet's pictures are awesome. She has a great eye for photography and is very artistic. She knows how to pose you for pictures and how to catch the moment. I know because she taught me how to take great pictures and I worked for her for several years. I highly recommend her and will always refer her to someone because I know she is a great photographer and knows what she is doing.
