I have used RCSilver twice during the past year; once for a photo restoration and once for a photo-shop touch up and re print. Susan is great to work with! An experienced pro who can make recommendations of what will work and what wont and what YOU can expect from the available technology. She handled biz in a timely manner and the product was delivered on time and to my complete satisfaction.

Project one involved taking an old family photo (circa 1940's) that was a MESS and restoring it to black and white, non-ripped, not faded, not FOLDED, luster. Mission accomplished! It turned out great! And their pricing is competitive!

I had about 10, 110 films in my drawer which I had for about 40 years. Don't remember how I found this place but talked with a gentleman who was all excited about seeing my old film. Took it to them and they did an awesome job! They developed everything even those that were just blurs. Because he told me he would do that. I wanted to see all of it even if I couldn't figure out what it was.

Of course at that time the price was very reasonable. The store was on Fredericksburg Road across from Kmart. Shows you how long its been. I'm hoping that this is the same company I delt with then. Because I have found more negatives.more importantly it brought me back to a time that brought so much fun for me.

River City Silver gets a gold in my book! This photo company is tops when it comes to photography and development services. They are simply the best in town. If you have important pics that you need a professional job on, they'll do it! They have the best photo lab, and can develop your negatives into prints or slides, or even have them digitized.

The service is fast, and they are very, very knowledgeable about their craft. They make great recommendations, and can really help get your development done in the best way possible. Sure, they're a bit (a lot) more expensive than going to Walgreens for your photo development. But Walgreens is just going to spit your photos out on the cheapest paper possible, without a person even looking it over to make sure that it looks its best. Instead, River City Silver will have your photos printed in the highest definition possible, will tweak the settings to make sure it looks good, and even puts a border around the photos, suitable for framing. I wouldn't trust anyone else with prized photos. They also do digitization of old photos and scrapbooks and such.

Excellent from start to finish! After finding them on Google, I checked their website and noticed they had a file upload service, so I uploaded a photo and asked for an estimate to restore it. They answered the next day, and while it seemed a tad high, I liked the examples of work on their website, so I brought the photo in. Susan showed me a preliminary fix to get an idea of what she could do, and we went over the things I wanted to repair.

The project was finished a day early, right at the estimated cost. I'm completely satisfied with the final product and highly recommend this local business. Sometimes paying a little extra for a quality product is worth it!

I am so happy I stumbled upon River City Silver during my Google search for local print shops offering printing on fine art fiber papers. Susan was the first person I made contact with when I called River City Silver. After asker her a few questions about paper options, she then transferred to me to Hank. Hank answered tons of questions for me as I had so many of them because I had no idea which type of paper I wanted my landscape images printed.

He convinced me to try Moab. I picked up my sample 11x14 print and was super happy with his recommendation. That was at first glance. When I returned home to compare the sample print on Moab fiber paper to the print I received from MPix, I was blown away! The quality of color, tonality, vibrance, details in the whites and shadows all trumped MPix's fuji paper. River City Silver's printing process and final product are sublime and I highly recommend their services to any photographer seeking high quality fine art prints.

I, too, have only used River City for film development, but I've always loved my results. I like having 'artists' working prints that are dear to me. I mean, for goofy family pics, I'm ok with WalMart or something, but when it comes to shots (on film) from, say, a trip to Italy.then I want to feel like I know the guy on the other side of the process cares about quality. The folks at River City Silver are always helpful. Take them your projects and ask them about your concerns - they want to do a good job, not simply process your order.

I've only used River City Silver for film developing (120 b/w & 35 color slide) but they do all sorts of digital processing also--they are friendly and helpful and fast. There's a film drop-box if you can't make it in during operating hours. **They do close from 1-2pm every day, so be aware!
