Dallas Photographer, John Christopher, is a lifestyle, portrait, wedding photographer and filmmaker committed to telling stories of life and love through timeless imagery. Texas born, John Christopher is a photojournalist at heart. His formal training and background in newspapers and magazines allow him to approach portraits and events with a style that can be described as a mixture of fashion, editorial and cinematic.

When he's not shooting weddings and portraits, you can find John Christopher with his wife Katie, chasing their puppy around the dog park or photographing his most inspiring subject of all - his four year old daughter Emmie and three year old daughter Averie.

My pursuit of photography began when I was only 14 years old - while in high school! It seems like only a few days ago I was considering photography as an elective, but today - 16 years later, my love for photography has enabled me to experience some out-of-this-world situations. From my time at Texas A&M - College Station (Whoop) to my experience freelancing as a photojournalist at the Austin American-Statesman, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and other leading publications, photography has allowed me to do what I love every day.

What should I wear for my dallas photography portrait session? I'll always suggest you dress for timeless style. Usually solid, figure flattering and tailored clothes are best. I try to suggest staying away from matching outfits, but propose that outfits are color coordinated to show of each individual style.
