I am Alyssa Rose, a professional people and pet photographer in Seattle. My Green Lake studio has been a neighborhood staple since 2007 with hundreds of families, kids and dogs photographed over the years.

Graduating from Seattle University with an honors Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography, I focused on weddings for my first year before founding my studio space in 2007 and building a following for my modern white backdrop studio portraits focused on kids, families and lots of pets.My husband, Aaron, has been a huge support throughout the years both in and out of the studio and we have photographed many weddings together.

The session fee covers a studio, outdoor or in-home session anywhere in the Greater Seattle area. We also offer a combo studio/Green Lake session for the best of both worlds. All sessions include roughly one hour of session time and a $50 credit to use towards your final image order. Three portrait sessions over baby's first year, most commonly newborn/six months/one year or three months/six months/one year.

Our annual photos up in Mount Vernon at Roozengaarde are finally back on as normal after two years! Spring is just around the corner, flowers are peeking out. These will take place locally in Seattle parks, great for kids, dogs and families. These take place in Mount Vernon at the annual tulip festival at Roozengaarde with fields and gardens aplenty.

One of our favorite local animal rescues is PAWS, the Progressive Animal Welfare Society, and we have been honored to be their annual calendar photographer since 2015. Each year at their annual auction, each month and the cover are auctioned off, with thousands raised each year (one year was over $67,000 for the calendar alone!).
