Christy loves personally connecting with her clients in order to best create beautiful artwork for your home.

Christy is beyond talented in not only with her eye for a great photo but her patience, calm attitude, and inviting approach made being photographed so comfortable that she was able to capture me pregnant and our new family of three with our spirit totally embodied in the frame.

Growing up in Manhattan, KS, my father was a hobbyist photographer and I was his little assistant in the darkroom. I was fascinated with it all from an early age and began learning more through my local 4-H group. After having gone into the corporate world as a young adult, I soon realized I needed to follow my heart and get back to photography.

Maternity

Report

Your maternity session is about feeling deeply at ease and letting go of any anxieties or judgement. During your session, you'll find everything else falls away, except for a new and beautiful appreciation for yourself, and a lasting connection to the miracle of carrying a child. Maternity photos are best done 4-6 weeks prior to your due date (but we can do them anytime you wish).

Newborn

We have been specializing in newborn baby photography for years, and we know what we're doing! We have literally photographed hundreds of newborns. Currently we are doing newborn sessions in-studio or in the comfort of your home (please ask for details). I can book up a month or so in advance (especially during the busy times (late summer, fall, and around holidays).

Family & Child

Photos can be taken in-studio or on-location, and we have multiple spots around the Kansas City area that we love to photograph at, or we can photograph at your favorite location as well. After the initial phone conversation, we sit down for an in-person consultation (usually 15 or so minutes in length) where we discuss outfits, location, and the details of what you are envisioning for your photo shoot.
