Do you photograph outside the Houston area?
While based in Houston, we serve the entire Greater Houston region including Galveston, Katy, The Woodlands, and Sugar Land with additional travel fees for distant locations.
What's included in a typical headshot session?
Sessions include pre-session consultation, location selection, lighting setup, and 1-2 hours of photography with 30+ edited images delivered digitally.
Can we use the Cistern at Buffalo Bayou Park?
Yes, but this location requires advance permission and payment of facility fees with special lighting equipment costing an additional $400.
How far in advance should sessions be booked?
We recommend booking portrait sessions 4-6 weeks ahead, with event photography requiring 8-12 weeks' notice for guaranteed availability.
Do you offer group photography?
Group sessions accommodate up to 10 people with pricing starting at $850 for one-hour sessions including 25 edited images.

My daughter and son-in-law used Rob as their wedding photographer. He also took the photos of the rehearsal dinner. Rob is a fantastic photographer. He has a good eye for capturing the moment. He was very easy to work with and has a good personality. A wedding always seems to go by so quickly and Rob's pictures allow me to relive the day. His pictures capture the love, joy and spirit of the day. The photos are works of art.

A true pro, Rob Greer is the best event photographer in Houston. Weddings and event photography tends to all blend in to look the same, but Rob's photos are perspective of our wedding demonstrates his experience and unique point of view. Even at the event, guests were raving about the photos he captured of them. Post event, we are convinced photos were the best investment and use of money and we are very thankful were hired Rob.

Seriously, look no further. Rob takes his job of making incredible wedding photos very seriously. We hired Rob as our photographer for our 8/10/19 wedding. He is incredibly talented and extremely detail-oriented. Along with capturing all the details of the wedding itself, he will deliver some breathtaking photos, some quirky/fun/interesting photos, some photos where you and your guests look stunning, some poignant photos with real emotion. even in difficult locations.

We hired Rob as our wedding photographer based on his portfolio we saw on his website. This looked different from other photographers we looked at and very interesting, which we liked. And sure enough he did not disappoint. In fact he exceeded easily our expectations. Besides he has a great personality and an amazing eye for detail while doing his work. We got our photos quicker than expected and we were absolutely stunned by the results. I can only highly recommend Rob. It was a great and fun experience and we're glad we went with him!

We're in love, with the photos that Rob took of our wedding. From his portfolio we figured we'd get something pretty cool, but were floored by what actually came back. Rob is an incredible photographer and everything about the process was fantastic. Rob was an incredible photographer. Not only did he play an integral role in keeping our wedding on schedule during the planning phase, but with him, our photography on the day-of couldn't have gone more smoothly. He put everybody he was working with at ease (and was even able to accommodate our including our dogs in the ceremony portion of the wedding!)! We found out about him through a friend's wedding, and couldn't recommend him enough. Thank you Rob!

I used Rob Greer for an event and he really helped me feel at ease. If found his page on Yelp and saw that he had some great reviews so decided to try him out and I completely agree with his incredible ratings. As a person Rob was extremely flexible and professional. He has a very calming personality and it able to ask direct and quick questions to provide you exactly what you're looking for. After the event, the photos that were provided were exactly what I was looking for.
He had honestly surpassed my requests and was even able to give me more variety. This was particularly impressive because i only had time to give him an extremely short briefing. When Rob came in for the event as well, he was dressed very professionally. Working in a more conservative place, this is extremely important to us and makes a big impact. He was able to navigate the small area undetected and never caused any disturbances. It is incredibly easy to tell that Rob is an expert and has a lot of experience. I would most definitely use him for other events!

I've worked with Rob on a few different parties now, both business and social. In each case I was the organizer and not the client or guest-of-honor, so it's been especially important to me that everything go smoothly. I can't stress enough that Rob is not only very pleasant to work with, he's also a professional. He knows what's expected, and he knows how to deliver. You won't have to worry about when he's going to show up (a little early), if he'll look appropriate (always), does he have the necessary equipment (so many lenses), will he get a shot of all the right people (better tell them to look cute), or how the pictures will turn out (beautifully shot, candid, sentimental, adorable, and super frame-able). Rob has always provided a printed and signed agreement before every job, which I appreciate.
If you've planned an event, then you know the worries that come with hiring a photographer. Save yourself the worry, just hire Rob (worry about the caterer).

Rob was amazing. I was getting ready to propose to my girlfriend. He was incredibly helpful through the entire process leading up to it. He helped me pick the perfect spot and get the necessary permits. At the actual proposal, he took incredible photos, both candid and staged. Highly recommend Rob.

Rob Greer and his assistant did a spectacular job photographing my youngest daughter's wedding in early April 2018. What I liked best about him was the level of his engagement with everyone in the room, and his very easy going approach. He listened carefully to conversation around him, was friendly and engaged not only with the bride and groom but with their friends and parents. His photos were amazing. As you can tell from all the praise in the other reviews, Rob is an awesome photographer. He was flexible and a joy to work with on our non-traditional special day. We asked to take pictures on the running trails near our house - he went in step further and scouted out an additional location that made for even more beatiful pictures. We'd recommend him to anyone looking for a brilliant photographer with a keen eye and a great sense of humor.

I was set on finding a photographer who's photos did not look as though they had been edited with a trendy Instagram filter. Recco after recco, my wedding planner kept sending me portfolio links of LA photographers and they all looked exactly the same...and then there was Rob. Rob's photos were real, Rob's photos told a story! When we first reached out to Rob, he invited us to his home to meet and get to know each other.
He was so easy to get along with and we could tell that he was the one! Our engagement photos were a riot to shoot and turned out EXACTLY how we wanted. His pictures captured moments that were quirky enough to show our personality while still highlighting the romance between us. On the day of the wedding, he was even more helpful than our planner. He's punctual, professional, beyond talented, and knows what he's doing here!

Rob is an incredible photographer. I can honestly say I was blown away in every respect. Yes, Rob covered all the bases and got great shots of everything we wanted to capture for our wedding, but more importantly he captured our personalities and the fun of the wedding. I've never seen a wedding album like this before. I know I will look back on our day and the photos will conjure not just the events, but also the feel. Rob took the time to understand who we were and what we loved and made sure the images reflected that. Additionally he's a really nice guy- although tough when he has to be, a consummate professional. He's done a lot of weddings and at a couple key moments saved the day when the wedding planner got off schedule, got overloaded or missed something. I can not recommend Rob more highly.

Rob got the job done for our wedding. He also showed up early which was nice. BUT when I asked him to take photos of me and my bridesmaids in our robes, he had the audacity to say no, we don't have time. When we had hours ahead of us. My wedding coordinator said she has never witnessed anything like it. It was almost embarrassing. We were not late, he was sitting in my hotel suite, what the hell should he be doing, taking pictures, right?
After our ceremony, when we arrived at our hotel and reception location I asked him to take photos in the halls of the gorgeous hotel The Langham. He said, later. Well later didn't happen. Photo missed. I feel as though there were missed opportunities and he was rigid. Maybe it was an off day for him. Also, his 2nd photog was barely taking pics. Feel bad writing this review but it's the truth.

My now wife and I could not be more than happy with the professionalism and creative talent that Rob exhibited during our engagement session and at our wedding. We knew from the start, when we first met Rob, before hiring his services that he was a perfect match for us. Rob is an incredible photographer and amazing to work with! My whole family and I were nothing but impressed with Rob from start to finish. We had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable working with him. He's great at handling different personality types and does all he can to "help the day of" run smoothly for the bride and groom. I loved working with Rob! He was detailed, organized, transparent and professional. And of course, my wedding photos turned out great! I am no expert, but I was attracted to his work because it seemed modern and included a lot of candid shots.
