Services
The Sales Representative will work closely with our marketing and sales team with the primary objective of seeking new clients and revenue stream. The ideal candidate must have good strong communication skills and a proven ability to attract new prospects and sales. The Digital Lab Technician will be responsible for the production of the digital workflow and output of the company's photo products.

* UPDATE* After reporting this company to the BBB, I received a phone call from MaLLett Photography the same day. The pictures arrived a day or two later. The package was missing a picture. However, they did end up sending the missing picture along with an extra one, which was nice. I have no complaints about the quality of the photo or whatever Covid- related issues this company might've been experiencing.

The only issue was the lack of communication. Had someone answered the phone or replied to my e-mails, I would not have reached out to the BBB. I would like to clarify any misunderstanding. I was not referring to this company as a "red flag company" I was stating that it was a red flag to me that I was unable to pay by check and I will explain why. when you pay for something (with cash) and do not have proof of payment and have not received the product and cannot get in touch with the company it's concerning.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to my review and I wish your company the best. Sincerely. My child took class pictures early November 2022. Some student's received their pictures mid December. I reached out to the company countless times and sent e-mails. Everytime I call it goes to a voice mailbox of Jacqueline Mallett whose voice mailbox is full.

It is now January 19, 2022 and I have yet to receive a phone call or e-mail. When I contacted the school I was told that this is their 2nd time using this company and that they were giving them a (second chance) I guess I'm going to have to contact the BBB. Furthermore, the website sucks, you cannot choose your background even though they advertise that they offer different backgrounds and they do not accept checks. I saw so many red flags prior to purchasing the photos. My mistake. I will never purchase photos from this company again.

Took school pictures November 1st 2021. It's now 1/21/2021 and to date we have not received anything. No digital or hard copy. No notification or anything. Absolutely the worst experience. Business practice is subpar,

School pictures were taken 11/01/21. It's now 1/21/22 and to date the copies requested are still pending. I learnt today that some parents at the school received their orders but I am still waiting. These pictures were requested for the expressed purpose of sharing with family during the Holidays at this rate they will be shared for the 2022 Holiday season.

The service delivery was poor and I would not recommend or utilize this service again. Additionally, the convenient excuse for this delay is the pandemic but it's almost three months later now. There was no communication about the delay or ETA provided when the commodity that was paid for would be delivered. Unacceptable business practices. THE PURPOSE OF A REVIEW IS TO SHARE ONE'S EXPERIENCE WITH A SERVICE OR BUSINESS. IF MY EXPERIENCE WAS PLEASANT THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A POSITIVE REVIEW. IN BUSINESS WHEN OFFERING GOODS AND SERVICE THAT IS THE RISK ONE TAKES AND SHOULD ALWAYS AIM TO PROVIDE STELLAR SERVICE AND PRODUCTS TO THE CONSUMER.IF YOU BELIEVE THAT I WAS PROVIDED STELLAR SERVICE THEN I AM APPALLED; WERE THERE ANY CALLS, EMAILS OR COMMUNICATION WITH ME THE CUSTOMER? NO. IS THIS APPROPRIATE RENDERING OF A SERVICE? IT STARTS WITH COMMUNICATION WHICH WAS SORELY LACKInG.

A PRODUCT WAS REQUESTED AND IT FELL SHORT OF THE DESIRED TIME FRAME. THIS REVIEW WAS NOT ERRONEOUS AND WAS A TRUE REFLECTION OF MY EXPERIENCE. I AM NOT GOING TO COMPOSE A POSITIVE RESPONSE WHEN MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOT. I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT GOING TO LIE OR FUDGE A REVIEW. THE WORD ITSELF MEANS, " a formal assessment or examination of something with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary." AS THE WORD MEANS I HOPE MY HONEST ASSESSMENT OF MY EXPERIENCE LEADS TO CHANGES IN BUSINESS PRACTICES THAT CAN LEAD TO INCREASED CLIENTELE FOR YOU." THAT SHOULD BE THE FOCUS INSTEAD OF BEMOANING A NEGATIVE REVIEW. LEARN FROM IT AND INSTITUTE CHANGE TO PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. The FOCUS needs to be on the missteps that were made to prevent them from happening again.

Is a half star available? Our kiddos took their school pics in October, we just received their digital pics (only one per child) yesterday, January 8th 2022. This was after sending 4 emails and calling more times than I can remember (their voicemail box was full, therefore unable to leave a message). They responded to the first email, by requesting the kids names.

I responded with their names, then after that.no response. Once we received the email of the digital prints, there was no greeting, no apology, nothing.just the digital prints. Needless to say, their customer service is poor. Now on to the pics. The photographer either asked the kids not to smile, smile with their mouths closed or just snapped the pic not giving a damn.

The backdrop, was just a blue screen.we could have done better with our cell phones. Many complaints from teachers, and parents were expressed to the principal. I was informed they will not be using Mallett Photography in future business.

Mr. Mallett has created Great memories for my family and I. He does great professional work for families and schools. Every year he does great work for my school in Jersey City. He is friendly and easy to work with. If you don't like something he has no problem fixing the issue. I will definitely used Mallette Photography for my Family pictures again. Thank you Mr. Mallett

I have stopped by there at least 7x in the past 2 weeks. They do not answer their phone. They do not comply with the business hours posted. Entirely unprofessional. What effort would it take to post on their website or answering service that they will be on vacation? Unbelievable. I just want to pick up my pictures which have already been paid in full. I will never use their services again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They came to my daycare center with a flyer. I called to scheduled an appointment and was told I would be sent packets for the parents. After two weeks I still didn't receive the packet, so I called back and was told someone would bring them that day. True to their word, someone brought the preprinted packets and poster, BUT the name of the daycare was wrong!

So I had to modify the poster and white out the packets. These mistakes seemed small, so we still remained positive and excited about our first picture day. Picture day finally arrived our appointment was at 9 am. No one arrived by 9, so I called and left a message at the studio (assuming he would have come a few minutes early to set up). The photographer arrived at 9:05, and let me tell you, taking a few minutes to set up was a GROSS understatement because it took him over 30 minutes to set up!

In the mean time I have parents waiting and about 20 children under 4 getting antsy. Finally he began taking pictures-and let me say, his previous job must have been taking pictures for mugshots, because he was so nasty to the children. He didn't have any props to make them smile and he was barking at them saying "stop looking over there, look at me!" and "if you don't sit still, I'm not gonna take your picture!" and if they walked near the equipment he went ballistic screaming "get them away from there, that light costs $500!" Lastly, while he was taking pictures the "receptionist" called back and I explained to her how the session was going so far and how I/the parents were dissatisfied, her response was "well you didn't tell us parents were going to be there" HUH, what does that have to do with the quality of the service? Needless to say, I am waiting for the owner to call me back.

Not only to let him know how the session went, but to ask when we will receive our pictures because the photographer left without give us a date. Hopefully this review helps someone avoid the embarrassment and frustration I went through.
