Excellent experience that exceeded our expectations! We are currently working with a garment design company that is extremely elite and even they were completely blown away by the work that Dean and his team had done for us. We had interviewed multiple photographers and just did not feel like we were a good match. Dean really wanted to get to know us, our story, what we are trying to achieve, and took the time to learn each of our personalities first.
At the actual photo shoot, Sara, his make up artist was incredibly talented and fixed our hair to where we felt very confident. Dean had some wonderful tricks of the trade that you can tell he gained only through many years of expertise. The pictures turned out fantastically! We had a really great time at the shoot and the hours just flew by. Dena and his team were professional the entire time. We will definitely be seeking his services again as our company grows! I had not been through a professional headshot process in some time, and Dean really helped me get ready for the shoot. He is detailed, and asks a lot of good questions to make sure you're ready before you show up. The photo shoot itself was actually fun, and the results are so much better than I had expected. I was skeptical going in, but Dean and his team really do an amazing job. The final product, along with the professional process, exceeded my expectations and are a very good value.

The photoshoot with Dean was easy and fun and the final pictures turned out amazing. Dean managed to capture exactly what I was looking for, making sure it was all fitting me and my situation and not just a generic profile photo. Dean took shots over two sessions, taking the time needed to get me to relax, so that the trial lawyer I always am could simmer down a bit, and then (in moments of magic) he was able to capture the better angels of my nature shining through. For the first time in 68 years I have photos of me that I can embrace and feel good about - damn good in fact - wrinkles, jowls, and all. I now use them routinely in social media, ads, etc. I think Dean is an artistic genius who has found his calling and helped me own myself.

His studio is conveniently located right off 101 in Palo Alto and is well set up with a changing/costume/makeup room, bathroom and lounge area, as well as his photo station with lights, backdrop etc. He does a great job at making you feel at ease, which translated into more "natural" looking photos for me. He's definitely entertaining and knows his stuff.
He also took the time to have a pre-shoot call to discuss expectations and gave me some good advice on what clothing to wear. I am very happy with the results and would recommend him to anyone looking.

His professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the start. I'm not very photogenic and don't usually enjoy being photographed, so I was a bit nervous when I came in; but Dean's enthusiasm and warm personality helped me to relax and enjoy the process.
