Schoenfeldt Photography, Wedding Photographer One of my earliest memories from my childhood is walking up to my dad and my aunt and announcing, "I'd be a good photographer." They were surprised; there had been no context or preamble. When they asked me why I faltered. I just didn't have the language to explain that I was framing things in my mind. As a photographer, my biggest passion is decisive moment.

In a wedding or a family portrait session or a corporate event or professional headshots, I am looking for the moment when the truth and excitement and beauty of the moment is blazing and on display.
Services
In our connected & visual world, a successful corporate event with no photographer capturing it is like the proverbial tree falling in the forest: did it really happen? Alex Schoenfeldt Photography specializes in providing you with high-quality, high-class images that capture all the excitement and impact of your company events.
Wedding and private event photography is my sweet spot as a photographer, my zone of genius. I've shot over 600 weddings, and I know how they work, what's going to happen, and how to capture what is special and unique in each one. I specialize in a style that I call "romantic photojournalism" - I will shoot all the formals and important moments, but more importantly, I will capture the motion and emotion of your wedding or special event. I have various packages (listed below) to suit different wedding styles and needs.
Allison A. Arlington, VA 2/5/2010 Alex does a really great job of bringing pictures to life. Sometimes at a corporate event people can look kind of flat and staged. Alex does some sort of magic and seems to get people when they're actually interacting with each other, and maybe even smiling. I've had some great pictures come back from Alex, and I use him for all of my events.

My wife and I booked this guy a couple years ago for our wedding. the package came w/ engagement pictures. We did a photo session for engagement pics, and got them in the mail a few weeks later. As I scanned through the pictures, I was amazed at how under exposed they were. And how many black spots there were in many of the pictures. I showed them to other photo professionals and they were appalled at the poor quality.

The black spots were from dust in his CMOS sensor. It freaked me out. I wasn't going to chance this guy with my wedding pics. So I called to cancel our contract. I knew we would loose the $300 deposit, but that was better than getting a bad photographer. When I told him I was canceling the contract, he went off the deep end. literally! Telling me I had weak pretenses and poor judgment for cancelling.

Then he decided to tell me that "Your going to H**L because your a sinner and you better pray for forgiveness to your God!" I was completely silent and in so much shock! It got much worse on the phone, and he finally hung up, then called back and yelled some more. I would stay away from this guy. If you want to see the engagement pictures and how bad they look, feel free to contact me. I decided to file this with the BBB as well. Other wedding photographers said he should never be allowed to speak to customers again like that. atctrainer23@yahoo.com
