I've had the fortune of photographing hundreds of families in the Gainesville and North Central Florida area for over 10 years. When I'm not photographing fun families, you'll find me traveling to historical locations. Check out our travel blog here. I am originally from Annapolis Maryland where I grew up in a household of professional musicians - both my parents were in the Naval Academy Band for 20 plus years! Much to the surprise of my parents - I became a professional Disc Jockey at 18 and did that for 10 years - you know - when they actually had things called vinyl records!

All of my sessions are scheduled on-location. I primarily use the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, which offers a nice variety of spectacular backdrops, and best of all - your entry to the park is complimentary. If Urban is your thing, then the downtown art murals are super cool. Of course the UF Campus is a must if we are capturing Cap & Gown pictures.

I love to capture children and families in a very relaxed manner. It's truly like a playdate for the the young ones, or "hanging out" for older kids - no overwrought posing or cajoling, just very easy-going and stress-free for all involved. I use a variety of games to capture natural and genuine expressions.

I bring my relaxed and casual style to my High School Seniors and Individual Sessions too. I'm the first to admit I'm not a glamour photographer. I am super laid back and will help you relax and show off your personality. We'll find that perfect location - bring a few outfits and props (instruments, sporting equipment, and even your pet) and I'll tell you a few jokes to break the ice! These sessions are also great for Individuals looking to update their Social Media profile pictures and business sites.
